Installation
Sign up on the Get Macaos Enterprise page.
You will receive download and login information by mail. Once you receive the info, simply download and run the installer (msi file), or unpack the zip file to an appropriate folder on your computer.
Note: All requests are checked manually, and only during normal working hours in Europe.
Note: If you don't receive a mail from Macaos Support, you should check if it has been captured by your spam filter.
Each time you start Macaos Enterprise for Engineers, it checks if a newer version is available and automatically updates itself, if necessary. If you are not using the latest version, access to some functionality may be limited.
Product browser
The heart of Macaos Enterprise is the Product Browser, a simple folder-and-item interface which helps you quickly locate the product you wish to work with.
If you are a new user, then you may not yet have any of your own products in the system, but there are a few products in the Global products folder (near the bottom of the upper list). These are products which anyone may use or purchase; typically kits for student projects or demos.
Select a product (in the lower list) to view the product. Use the tabs just below the button bar to switch between the Viewer, Specifications, Quotation, and History views.
