These mileposts give an overview of the work order's progression from start to finish. At the minimum, there will be a Manuf milepost. Depending on the work order, there may also be additional mileposts.
CAM
This milepost should be signed when the supplier has reviewed the production data and completed any necessary CAM work for their production lines.
Drill
This milepost typically only applies to PCB orders. It should be signed when all ordered items have been through the plated hole drilling process.
Assy
This milepost typically only applies to PCBA orders. It should be signed when all components have been soldered (or otherwise attached) on all ordered items.
Milled
This milepost typically only applies to PCB or PCBA orders. It should be signed when all ordered items have been separated from production panels to individual PCBs or PCBAs.
Eltest
This milepost typically only applies to PCB orders. It should be signed when all ordered items have been through the electrical test process.
Manuf
This milepost should be signed when all ordered items have been through all manufacturing processes and are ready for quality assurance review.
