Installation
If you have downloaded an install package, you need only to run the installer and then run Macaos Gallery. Otherwise, you must copy the executable (.exe
) file and any included library (.dll
) files to a suitable folder on your computer.
You will need a login name and password to log in. You should have received this together with your download information.
Each time you start Macaos Gallery, the program will check to see if a newer version has been released, and automatically update itself if necessary.
Product browser
The heart of Macaos Gallery is the Product Browser: a simple interface that allows you to view and organize your PCB and related products in a way that allows you to do what you need to do with them.
If you are a new user, then you will not yet have any of your own products in the system. Most likely, you will want to use the Import module to import your first PCB product.
Offline operation
Although all of your product data is stored locally on your computer, Macaos Gallery normally uses an internet connection to access our license server as well as to retrieve some configuration data.
If you need to run Macaos Gallery in a more secure environment, then you can use our Gallery Offline Registration Utility to configure Macaos Gallery for Offline Mode. Offline mode disables all internet activity; which also means the loss of some non-essential functionality.
The Gallery Offline Registration Utility may be downloaded from https://download.macaos.com/latest/GORU.zip
