The Macaos report viewer uses the Edge rendering engine to display reports (quotations, order confirmations, etc). The rendering engine uses a library (WebView2Loader_x86.dll) file supplied by Microsoft, which must be in the same folder as the Macaos application.
Users who have upgraded from Macaos Enterprise version 5.x should have gotten the DLL installed at the time of upgrade. However, we have found that some firewall and/or anti-malware systems prevent installing the DLL during the upgrade process.
There are two simple solutions:
- Download a zip file containing the dll file, and then unpack the dll to your Macaos Enterprise program folder.
- Download the full installation package for ME for Engineers or ME for Purchasers.
