In accordance with accepted standards, the ADM expects both the top and bottom component layer locations to be specified as if viewed from the top side of the PCB. However, some CAD systems generate bottom side PnP data with locations as if viewed from the bottom side. The Mirror operation may be used to correct this situation.
- Only the component layer to be mirrored should be visible. Hide the other component layer.
- Click on the Mirror button.
- Confirm that the layer should be mirrored.
- The layer is horizontally mirrored around the center of the layer.
- It will probably be necessary to align the mirrored layer with its corresponding copper layer, using the Align operation.
